Fundraiser at James J. Hill Center
AV for You set up audio, video, and lighting for a fundraiser event at James J. Hill Center in Downtown St. Paul.
For audio we set up JBL VRX Line Array Speakers on our DuraTruss crank stands to get the speakers high in the venue in order to better distribute sound. We also added QSC K10 Powered Speakers on stands as a delay speaker set to further reinforce sound in the back of the venue.
For video we rear projected our Eiki 7KHD Projector onto our Dalite 8x14 Fastfold Screen.
For lighting we used Ovation E910FC lights for a stage wash on Global Truss ST-132 crank tripods. We also provided an Ovation E910FC light for a gobo in the entry of the library. We set Battery Operated Lights with white covers to provide a sleek looking entrance to the event.
At the tech table we used our Behringer X32 Producer digital mixer and Shure UHF-R Wireless Mic Rack to provide reliable and clear audio. We also used our Analog Way QuickVu Video Switcher for simple video switching, our QLab laptop for video playback, and an ETC Smartfade Lighting Console to control the brightness of the stage wash.
