AV for You provided Audio, Video, Lighting and Staging Rental Equipment as well as Onsite Technicians for the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus ‘Sing it Forward:  Heroes Ball’ at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest in Brooklyn Park, MN.

For sound we set up speakers, microphone and mixing rental equipment.  For speaker rental equipment we set up dB Technologies DVA Line Array T4 Speakers on stands, JBL VRX918SP Subwoofers and QSC K10 Powered Speakers.  For microphone rental equipment we used Shure Wireless Handhelds, Countryman E6, Audio-Technica Choir Mics, a Shure SM58 for the Pianist mic and in pre function area, an Audio-Technica Gooseneck Mic for the podium, Shure Handheld for the auctioneer, and a Shure SM81 for the grand piano.

For video rental equipment we used two of our Eiki 7K HD projectors positioned across the room on truss towers near the tech table to project onto house screens.

For lighting we set up stage wash and decor lighting rental equipment.  For the stage wash we used ten Chauvet Ovation E-910FC LED Lights on truss towers.  For decor lighting we set up twelve of our Eternal Lighting Cube Echo LED Battery Powered uplights to a rainbow color display on our backdrop.

For staging rental equipment we set up three panels of pipe and drape using our Rosebrand Grey Drape to create the backdrop.  We also placed our frosted podium with up light on stage as well.

At the Tech Table we utilized our Shure QLXD4 Distro Wireless Microphone Rack, our Behringer X32 Compact Mixer and Behringer SD16 Digital snake for clear, dependable audio at the event.  We used our Roland HD Video Switcher to switch between powerpoint and video.  We used HDMI/SDI Cross Converters to send HD signal to the projectors.   We used our ETC Smartfade 1248 Lighting Board to control the stage wash.
