AV for You set up audio, video and lighting for Twin Cities Business Magazine's Person of the Year Award event at the Radisson Blu in Downtown Minneapolis.

For audio we used JBL VRX line array speakers. We placed two of the VRX speakers on our Duratruss Crank Tripod Stands to give extra height to speakers allowing us to evenly disperse sound throughout the venue. We also set up QSC K10s in the back of the venue for extra sound reinforcement. We used our Audio-Technica podium mics on our frosted podium onstage for the presenters to speak into.

For video we set up our Sharp 90" monitor on stage next to the presenter so that graphics could be seen from far away. We also had 75" monitors mounted to 8' truss towers with black sleeves to give a sleek and modern look. We placed a 75" monitor on a Chief Rolling Stand in the back of the venue to allow a proper view of video for all attendees at the event.

For lighting we used Chauvet Ovation ERS-Style lights mounted to 13' truss towers in back to create a stage wash. We also attached American DJ H2O Lights to create a gold shimmering water-like effect on the pillars above the attendees in the venue. We used another Chauvet Ovation ERS-Style light to shine a custom "Person of the Year" event gobo onto a pillar as people walked into the venue. EchoCUBE Battery Powered Uplights around the venue created a gold wash on the pillars and grey drape backdrop behind the stage.​
