Audio and Lighting Equipment Rental for a Wedding Reception

AV for You set up audio and lighting rental equipment for a wedding reception in the Summit Chalet at Lutsen Mountains.  The load in/out for the event was a little different than a normal venue as we got to load the equipment into a couple gondolas to ride up to the top of the mountain where the Chalet is and were able to enjoy the scenic views along the way.

For audio rental equipment we set up two QSC K10 Powered Speakers and utilized our LTI Blox to play a custom playlist for the dance from our clients laptop.  Our equipment shared the stage with Skyhaven (a local Minneapolis band) as they played a quick set during the meal.

For lighting rental equipment we set up a Chauvet DJ Gig Bar that worked well during the dance in combination with our Disco Ball package that includes a 16” American DJ Mirror Ball, a stand with motorized rotation, a pin spot light and white drape for the stand.  To create ambience at the venue we placed ten of our Eterenal Lighting Cube Echo LED battery powered uplights throughout the venue.
