Minneapolis Central Library 10 Year Anniversary
AV for You was thrilled to provide audio, video, and lighting to help celebrate the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Minneapolis Central Library in Downtown Minneapolis, MN.
For video, we rear projected our Eiki 7KHD Projector onto our Draper 6.75’x12’ FastFold. We also provided two 75" monitors on the first and second floors of the library for the audience to view the program from. We also used our Panasonic HD camera to provide a view of the podium from our video screens.
For audio, we set up six QSC K10s on the first and second levels of the library. We also provided two K10s on the third level to provide amplification for a keyboard to be used during a performance by the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus. We also provided our Audio Technics podium mics and wired microphones and direct boxes for a jazz trio performance.
For lighting, we used four of our ETC source 4 lights on two 5' truss towers on the second floor for a stage wash. We also provided a source 4 light to project a custom made gobo on the ceiling. We projected Zoom LED Lights from the second floor to create ambiance in the atrium. We also used 33 uplights to light a statue and the pillars on all four floors of the library. We set the lights blue, green, and orange to represent the curators of the event.
At the tech table, we set up our Analog Way Quickvu video switcher, Behringer x32 compact digital mixer, Asus PowerPoint laptop, Playback pro computer for video clips and ETC smartfade lighting console for light control. Under the table we also have our Shure QLXD4 Distro Wireless Microphone rack providing wireless handhelds for the event.
